Nov. 15 - Woodbine- OSS Super Finals
St. Lads Popcorn, capped off her fantastic freshman season with an impressive victory in the $300,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final for 2 yo fillies . The win in 1:54.4 for driver Jason Brewer and trainer/ower Jack Darling now give St Lads Popcorn earnings of $562,323 with a 2 yo record of 1:52.2. Congratulations to all her connections!

Sept. 13 - Mohawk- Nassagaweya Stakes
Straight Shooting, with John Campbell pulling the trigger hit his mark in the second division of the Nassagaweya Stakes in 1:52.3. Straight Shooting, a son of Western Terror who is trained by Richard "Nifty" Norman for the Bulletproof Enterprises of Boca Raton, Florida.

Sept. 4 - Mohawk- Simcoe Stakes
Bella Dolce, a daughter of Kadabra - Pizza Dolce, has now won seven of 13 starts this for trainer Kevin O'Reilly and owner David McDuffee of Nashua, New Hampshire, after going winless in her first six outings. The lion's share of the Simcoe $134,926 purse increased her career bankroll to just over $725,000. Driver Paul MacDonell got the win in 1:54.3.

Aug. 30 - Mohawk - Corleone Kosmos, with John Campbell at the controls came home in :27.2 for the win in 1:51.4 in the $638,580 Breeders Crown Open Trot.

Darren McCall trains Corleone Kosmos, a six-year old S Js Photo gelding, for owners Arthur Rudolph, Rudolph Stables, and Bernard Owen. This was the fourth win in nine starts this year for Corleone Kosmos, and his 17th career trip to the winner's circle. With the lion's share of the $638,580 purse, his career earnings went over the $1.6 million mark.

My Little Dragon won her third career Breeders Crown championship by claiming Saturday's $352,815 Mare Pace by two lengths in 1:50.1. My Little Dragon has won 23 of 48 career starts and earned more than $2.1 million.

Driven by Brian Sears, My Little Dragon – a Crown champion at ages two and three – joined Eternal Camnation as the only female pacers with three Crown trophies.

She is owned by Adam Victor & Son and trained in Canada by Mike Vanderkemp

Aug. 22 - Mohawk - Bella Dolce takes the $201,300 SBOA Stakes final for three-year-old trotting fillies in 1:55.2.

Kevin O’Reilly’s trains for owner/breeder David McDuffee of Nashua, New Hampshire. This latest win pushes the daughter of Kadabra and Pizza Dolce’s earnings over the $600,000 mark.

Aug. 16 - In The Game got up in the final stride to win the first of two $141,800 splits of the Eternal Camnation Stakes, for two-year-old pacing fillies, at Mohawk, in 1:55.4. In The Game is now perfect in three lifetime starts for owners Bulletproof Enterprises of Boca Raton, Florida. Richard 'Nifty' Norman trains the filly.

Aug. 10 -Chicy Micky, wins division of the Robert Stewart Stakes at Mohawk in 1:58.1. Trained by Kevin O'Reilly and driven by Paul MacDonell for owners Mel Hartman, Irving Liverman, David McDuffee, and John Fielding. She equalled the record for Robert Stewart stakes trotters in the process. Congratulations to everyone!

St Lads Popcorn was victorious in wire to wire fashion in the Robert Stewart Stakes for 2 yr. old filly pacers. Owned by trainer Jack Darling, the filly crossed the wire in 1:53.2. She is now four for five t his season.


July 26 -
Congratulations to trainer Michael Vanderkemp for Southwind Swallow's Canadian Breeders Championship Final in 1:52.1.
It was just the second win in 10 starts this year for the daughter of No Pan Intended owned by Adam Victor and Son Stable and Blue Chip Bloodstock of New York.

Bella Dolce, who has come back to the form that saw her be one of last year's top two-year old filly trotters, swept to victory in Saturday's $191,205 Canadian Breeders Championship for three-year old filly trotters . Kevin O'Reilly and Richard Norman train Bella Dolce, a Kadabra-Pizza Dolce filly, for owner David McDuffee. This was the second win in eight starts this year for Bella Dolce, who won eight of 11 starts last season. With the win, her career bankroll is now over the $471,000 mark.

June 29 - Congratulations to Kelly O'Donnell and his filly Tidewaterdragonfly, winner of the $405,715 Roses Are Red Final at Mohawk. The victory puts Tidewaterdragonfly’s summary at 3-1-1 in six starts this year for $269,000 banked. Lifetime the four-year-old daughter of Dragon Again has over $860,000 earned for Anne Singleton and David Beachler of Virginia.

Daniel Marten also won the Masters Series final with Striking Pockets at Georgian in the $111,000 final for older trotting mares. Rick Zeron drove for owners M T Pockets Stable. She was victorious for the fourth time in 13 starts this year, and now boasts career earnings of over $180,000.Tigerama, who has now won 60 races in his career, has earnings of over $1.59 million.

Tigerama, takes the Masters Series final for open males pacers in 1:50 with Jason Brewer in the bike for trainer Casie Coleman. Tigerama is owned by Robert Hamather has now won 60 races in his career, has earnings of over $1.59 million.

June 14 - Congratulations to trainer Casie Coleman and Chancey Lady for your win of the $733,000 Fan Hanover final for three-year-old pacing fillies at Mohawk.

Nov. 11 2007 - Zooka took his second straight Border City Series leg at Windsor Raceway for Mario Baillargeon.
Tigerama set the early tempo for Don Rankin of :26.4, :56.3 and 1:24 but could not hold off Zooka in the stretch as Baillargeon had him at the wire first in 1:52.1.

It was the 10th win this year for the five-year-old gelding by Astreos owned by trainer Ben Wallace and James Millier of Milton and Dorchester, Ont. Zooka, who recently went over the $1 million mark in life earnings, now has $348,000 on the year.

Congratulations to Jack Darling who is now 8 for 8 since moving to Classy Lane Stables.

Nov. 10 - Chancey Lady had an impressive win in tonight’s $300,000 OSS Super Final for two-year-old pacing fillies at Woodbine.
It was the sixth win in eight starts this year for the rookie daughter of Camluck who was purchased by leading BC owner Niele Jiwan of Burnaby for $60,000 from the Lexington Selected Sale. She was bred by Brittany Farms and Daisy Acres.

Trained by Casie Coleman, the filly now sports earnings of $337,000 this year and Coleman believes she’s earned a spot into next week’s Breeders Crown at the Meadowlands.

Nov. 10 - Deuce Seelster ended his wonderful rookie season in impressive fashion tonight at Woodbine in the $300,000 OSS Super Final for two-year-old pacing colts.

Owned by Katherine Bardis of California and trained by Darren McCall, Deuce Seelster now has nine wins and two seconds in 12 starts this year for $636,000 in earnings.

Sept. 1 - Mohawk Racetrack
Moving Pictures gave driver Mark MacDonald and trainer Casie Coleman their first Breeders Crown victory in tonight’s $392,400 final for pacing mares at Mohawk.

Mystical Sunshine and driver Daniel Dube for trainer Chris Ryder came from off the pace tonight to track down Passionate Glide at the wire and capture her second consecutive Breeders Crown championship with a 1:54.2 victory in the $270,00 final for trotting mares.

August 18 - Mohawk Racetrack
The Canadian Pacing Derby final came down to a battle between two outstanding free for all pacers this season in Mister Big and Lis Mara with the latter prevailing in 1:49.3.

Lis Mara improved his summary to 8-2-1 in 13 starts this year for $913,000 earned. He put his life earnings well over the $2 million mark with tonight’s effort.

The five-year-old son of Cambest is trained by Erv Miller for owners MJG Racing Stables of New Jersey and Louis Willinger, Kentucky.

July 21 - Kawartha Downs
In the $50,000 Invitational Pace, Zooka set a whole bunch of records for driver Mario Baillargeon. Zooka became the first ever free-legged pacer to break the 1:50 barrier. It also tied the fastest winning time on a five-eighths mile track in Canada, tying Lis Mara who won in 1:49.3 at Rideau Carleton in 2006. Zooka also broke the Kawartha Downs track record by almost two seconds, lowering Stonebridge Galaxy's mark of 1:51.2.

Trained by Ben Wallace, Zooka has won seven of 19 starts this year. The win puts Zooka with over $850,000 in career earnings.

June 30 - Mohawk Racetrack
In what was one of the most thrilling finishes of the season in harness racing, Moving Pictures (D M Dilinger-Killer Queen) clawed her way to victory in tonight's $379,000 final of The Roses Are Red Stakes for older pacing mares.

The win tonight improved Moving Picture's 2007 summary to 5-1-1 in 10 starts for owners Steve Calhoun and Michael Lindley of Chatham, Ontario. She now sits with a career bankroll of just over $750,000.

Congratulations to trainer Casie Coleman.

Classy Lane Stables Training Centre has become the talk of Canadian harness racing and already established a new benchmark for establishments of this variety in the country.

The Puslinch, Ontario, facility was built by 51-year-old Dorchester
contractor Jamie Millier and his two business partners. The 135 acre
farm is located just 15 minutes driving time west of Mohawk Racetrack.

The multi-million dollar operation offers a seven-eighths mile track, 75 feet wide, with mile turns developed by Dan Coon and five barns that accommodate 222 horses. The facility is home for some of North America's top trainers.

The centre has a one-third mile sand jog track, a one-half mile jog path through a wooded area, swimming pool, tack shop, blacksmith shop, 3 equicizers, veterinarian and 31 paddocks.
